The national elections may have just wrapped up, but things are just getting started for next year's Detroit Mayoral election.
One contender is Mike Duggan, who is stepping down from his position as CEO of the Detroit Medical Center in order to run, held a gathering for young professionals on December 6th at Prive near downtown Detroit.

There was a large turnout of well-dressed, young Detroiters there to hear Mr. Duggan speak and network. Mr. Duggan's website is here
